Rayani Presley
Mrs. Presley is a Licensed Professional Counselor committed to guiding individuals through life’s challenges with empathy, compassion and proven therapeutic approaches. Born in Hawaii and having lived in several states throughout her childhood, she eventually made South Carolina her home. Her diverse life experiences contribute to a broad, culturally informed perspective that enriches her therapeutic work.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from the University of South Carolina Beaufort and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Before joining Carolina Psychiatric Services, P.A., she held a variety of roles providing services to clients of all ages. Rayani has built a strong foundation in trauma-informed care through her work in both clinical and community-based settings. Her experience includes overseeing operations at an emergency children’s shelter, conducting forensic interviews, and providing trauma counseling, family therapy, and ongoing support for individuals managing severe and persistent mental illness.
Rayani strives to create a safe and affirming space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change. She believes in meeting each person exactly where they are on their healing journey, tailoring her approach to meet their unique needs. She draws from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Outside of her work, Rayani values time with her family and enjoys a variety of hobbies. Whether she’s at the ballfield supporting her son, fishing with her husband, catching up on her favorite reality TV shows or spending time with her pets, she embraces these moments as a way to recharge, laugh, and stay grounded.
